If you would like to pay by check you will need to register at the museum in person or mail us a check payable to “East End Seaport Museum.”  Please indicate the number in your party and the date of the cruise.  Include your address, telephone number and email so you can receive confirmation of your reservation.

I want to bring a group of people with me.  How do we all register? Will we get a special rate?
Group rates for parties of 10 or more on day and sunset cruises: email eesmcruises@gmail.com or call 631-477-2100 Ext.1.

How do I get to the museum?
The “Directions” page on our website can help you!

How long is each trip?
Day cruises: 6 hours. Sunset/eve cruises: 3-5 hours. "Bug" Light Excursions: 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

How many lighthouses will I see?
Day cruises: up to 8 lighthouses. Sunset/eve cruises: 4-6 lighthouses.
All cruises include debarkation for a "Bug" Light tour. Itinerary according to weather conditions.

Super Cruise: Up to 14 lighthouses in New York state, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Most lighthouses of any cruise!
Note: the vessel is too large to debark at "Bug" Lighthouse for a tour.

Are pets allowed?
No pets are permitted.  We do permit seeing-eye dogs.

Can I bring a cooler?
No coolers are permitted.  There is no extra room on the vessel.

What is on board to drink?
Each person has a complimentary drink ticket for either a glass of wine, beer or bottle of water.  You can also purchase wine, beer, soda and water inexpensively on board.

Is smoking allowed?
No smoking is allowed on the boat or the lighthouse.

What do I wear?
Wear shoes or sandals with a rubber sole.  Sneakers or boat shoes are great.  It’s important to bring a windbreaker, sweatshirt or sweater for evening comfort – it’s cooler out on the water.  Bring a hat and sunscreen, since the decks are open and the sun is hot and bright.  Don’t forget your sunglasses.

Can I sit indoors?
Yes, but we have limited cabin space.

Do we go if it rains?
Yes, we go rain or shine.  Check the weather the day before to see if you need to bring rain gear.

Have any trips ever been cancelled because of weather?
In our 12 years of running lighthouse cruises only two trips have been cancelled because weather concerns.  If so do cancel, participants will receive a full refund.

What’s your refund/cancellation policy?
Substitution of persons is acceptable. Please notify of proper names for Ship's Manifest at Check-In.
Cancellations/refunds: up to two (2) weeks before departure. No-shows cannot be refunded.

Can someone go in my place?
Yes. Substitution is acceptable. Please notify of proper name for Ship's Manifest at Check-In.

How many people are on a cruise?
Day and Sunset/eve cruises: up to 80-85 persons. "Bug" Light Excursions: up to 100+ persons.
Super Cruises: 300 persons.

Are cruises suitable for children?
Most children enjoy "Bug" Light Excursions because the tours are short, and children walk around an off-shore lighthouse.
Other cruises are much longer. Vessels cannot accommodate strollers and do not contain changing station.

Can I bring my elderly parents?
People in their 90s have had a wonderful time on cruises!  We will be happy to pre-board and settle them in the cabin if it would be more comfortable for them.

What about meals?
Day and Sunset/Eve Cruises include a Deli Box meal (sandwich, chips, cookies. beverage). To accommodate dietary needs buns are seedless and dressings on the side. If you require a special diet, feel free to bring a small personal insulated bag.

Can I pick up my boarding pass before the day of the cruise?
Boarding passes handed out upon check-in  30 minutes - 1 hour prior to boarding.

I would like to buy a cruise gift certificate.  How can I do it?
Gift Certificates available: in person at the Museum or eesmcruises@gmail.com or 631-477-2100 Ext. 1. Valid for the remainder of current season through the end of the following cruise season.

If I have additional questions or special needs issues to discuss who do I contact?
